Ancient Order
Open to only a select
few, the Ancient Order of Saint Martin is established to recognize those who
have rendered conspicuous, long-term service. Recipients have so singularly
distinguished themselves as contributors to the Quartermaster Corps that they
have few peers.
Possible recipients may
be nominated by any Quartermaster General, any Command Sergeant Major serving at
the General Officer Level, or any SES. The awardees are chosen by the unanimous
approval of The Quartermaster General, The Regimental Command Sergeant Major,
and The Honorary Colonel, Warrant Officer, and Sergeant Major of the Regiment.
Recipients will be
awarded a gold medallion with a ribbon, a certificate, and have their name
placed on a plaque in Mifflin Hall. It is awarded annually at the Quartermaster
School Regimental Birthday and Founder’s Day Ball.

Distinguished Order
Recipients

The Distinguished Order
of Saint Martin is presented to senior field grade officers, Command Sergeants
Major and Sergeants Major, and DA Civilians who have made significant
contributions to the Quartermaster Corps. It is intended to recognize those
elite few whose careers have embodied the spirit, dignity, and sense of
sacrifice and commitment epitomized by Saint Martin.
Anyone may nominate a
possible recipient. Final approval is made by The Quartermaster General in
conjunction with the Regimental Command Sergeant Major.
Recipients will be
awarded a silver medallion with a ribbon and a certificate. It is presented by
the nominator, usually at an official Quartermaster function.

Honorable Order
Recipients
To
qualify for the Honorable Order, nominees must have demonstrated the
highest standards of integrity and moral character. They must also have
displayed an outstanding degree of professional competence, served the
U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps with selflessness, and contributed to the
promotion of the Quartermaster Corps in ways that stand out in the eyes
of the recipient’s seniors, subordinates, and peers.
Anyone
may nominate a possible recipient. The award may be approved by the
first Quartermaster Colonel Commander in the recipients chain of
command.
Recipients
will be awarded a bronze medallion with a ribbon and a certificate. It
is presented by the nominator, usually at an official Quartermaster
function.
